In 2018, Christina founded Community With Heart, a special event dedicated to helping those in need.
Through this initiative, guests are welcomed with a warm meal, haircuts, good company, and essential items like toiletries, clothing, and non-perishable food—delivering not just support, but hope and dignity.
100 Women Who Care
Christina is also a proud member of 100 Women Who Care, a group that gathers quarterly to pool resources and make significant donations to local charities.
Her dedication doesn’t stop there—she regularly sponsors sports teams, contributes to local events, and donates to causes close to her heart.
Supporting Young Athletes
Christina proudly sponsors children’s sports teams, helping to nurture the next generation of athletes.
We believe that sports play a vital role in building confidence, teamwork, and community spirit.

As a proud sponsor of the local girls’ soccer team, Christina welcomed the team for a fun-filled pizza party to celebrate their hard work and dedication. Great food, great company, and a well-deserved celebration for these amazing athletes!
Helping Feed
the Community
The Stouffville Food Bank received an incredible boost thanks to a community-driven food drive organized by Christina Assenza of Christina Cooks Catering and Community With Heart.
Boxes were placed at the entrances of St. Brigid and St. Mark schools, where generous community members dropped off much-needed items to help families in need.
This effort reflects Christina’s passion for making a difference and her commitment to supporting those who rely on the food bank.
It’s a wonderful reminder of how small acts of kindness can unite a community.

Supporting Our Community
During COVID, we found joy in spreading kindness, one doorstep at a time. Friends, family, clients, and residents were surprised with porch drop-offs filled with fresh, in-season, and locally sourced goodies—because a little unexpected treat can brighten any day.
We surprised some of our community members with hand-delivered treats and fresh produce—chosen at random!
Supporting local is at the heart of what we do, and what better way to do it than by sharing something delicious, fresh, and in season!
Giving back to those who give so much!
During COVID, we had the honour of donating meals to the incredible frontline workers at Markham Stouffville Hospital as a small token of appreciation for their dedication and hard work.

Girl Guides – Pizza Making
Christina welcomed the local Girl Guides for a hands-on, fun-filled ‘Make Your Own Pizza’ party! The girls got to roll, top, and create their own delicious pizzas while learning a few culinary tips along the way. A perfect mix of creativity, teamwork, and, of course, tasty bites!”
